The PPC212V vertical 2×12 is constructed from 15mm Birch Plywood, making it light and compact. With Celestion Neo Creamback speakers— delivering low-end punch, a warm, vocal midrange and sweet, refined highs—and an open back construction, it retains the tonal excellence you would expect from an Orange cabinet.
The Orange PP212V 2×12 open back cabinet impulse response pack includes files for three iconic, professional-quality microphones (the Shure SM57, Royer R-121, and Sennheiser MD421) recorded in six different positions, resulting in six tone options for each mic – referred to within the files as Bright, Dark, Dark 2, Balanced, Fat and Thin.
This Orange PP212V cabinet IR also contains recordings with a Neumann TLM 107 room mic, sampled in three different positions – Left, Right and Stereo. There are also files for eight mic mixes, created by blending different microphones together. All impulse response files are in .WAV format.
