The Blackstar Artist 212 2×12 open back cabinet features finger-jointed birch plywood construction to produce a solid, natural sounding open tone. Fitted with a pair of Celestion V-Type speakers, it combines a controlled low-end with clear, smooth highs.
This Blackstar Artist 212 2×12 open back cabinet impulse response set features three pro-quality mics (Royer R-121, Shure SM57 and Sennheiser MD421), each placed in seven different positions to give a wide range of tone options, named within the IR as Thin, Fat, Balanced, Bright, Dark, Dark 2 and Rear.
Also included with this Blackstar cab download are three room mic recordings (Left, Right and Stereo) made with the Neumann TLM 107, as well as twelve additional mic mixes.
This cabinet impulse response is downloaded in .WAV format for compatibility with the majority of amp modelling software and plugins.
