We have created two special IR mixes which can be obtained by HeadRush customers following purchase:
Creamback H Heavy Mix A
Starting with a closed back 1×12 IR for a full-on Creamback H tone, we blended in the rear mic from the open back 1×12 cab to round out the low end. Finally, to add girth and density we dropped in a Royer R-121 used on the closed 4×12 cab. The result is very dark and full; recommended for seriously heavy sounds.
Creamback Impossible 8-Mic Mix
Combining the weight of a Creamback M in a 4×12 cab, with the precision of a Creamback H in a closed back 1×12, the Impossible 8-Mic Mix simultaneously uses all three spot mics as well as the room mic for each cab! The result is another great hard rock tone that’s dark enough to command attention with a high gain amp setting, with a little added brightness and punch for lead lines that cut through.
